Gettorf – As a reliable solution for detecting process malfunctions in time and ensuring correct dosage quantities, EGE presents the SDN series of inline flow sensors for monitoring micro-dispensing applications. Designed for dosing cycles of 1 second or less, the devices monitor flow pulses in the microliter to milliliter range. They are suited for a variety of fluids in various applications, e.g. drop-by-drop dosage of lubricants or additives. The sensor reports values for each dosing cycle and triggers an alarm if any quantity is found to be irregular.

The devices feature a measured value display. They can be parameterized on site with a keyboard and are very quickly ready for operation. The contact-free sensors contain no moving parts that protrude into the medium and therefore ensure wear-free and reliable operation. Manufactured from stainless steel and PBT, the robust sensors feature IP 67 ingress protection and withstand pressures up to 10 bar. The compact devices are simply fitted into a pipe and connected via an M12 connector.
