Infrared detectors can be used anywhere and at any time when temperature needs to be monitored, whereas conventional sensors can fail due to overheating. EGE infrared detectors feature an exceptionally robust industrial design and construction that protects the device from mechanical stress. These units are IP 68 compliant, so they are waterproof up to 3 bar and can withstand high pressure cleaning methods as well as temperature and climate fluctuations (IP 69K). Fiberglass is designed for extreme environmental conditions and can withstand temperatures up to 250°C, with special versions even up to 500°C.
